Alright. So I'd like to step up my let's plays from emulators to consoles.
I already plan on picking up the Hauppauge. But from there, am not too certain on which else I should pick up to complete the set up.
It will come with cable for hooking up to 360/PS3/Wii, but I won't be playing any of these.
I'll mostly be using Saturn/Dreamcast/Gamecube/PS1 & 2/Xbox. Will I need any other specific assorted cables?
The Hauppauge will not be connected to a TV. Instead I need to connect it to an LCD (VGA, DVI or HDMI) & set of speakers. Not sure which cables or converters I should get.
Been searching around for answers the past few months, but am not seeing answers-details to specific questions.
I'd go ahead with acquiring stuff that am not too certain will work, but saving money rather than wasting in a trial & error process would be the preferred approach.
Any/all suggestions & ideas would be excellent! Thanks.

Re: PVR setup recomendations?
I have a Hauppauge PVR, and it does have S-Video inputs on the front of it, so you'll be fine with the consoles you listed. I ran the composite outs through a composite -> HDMI adapter to run it through the secondary input on my computer monitor.
I can't comment on the video quality for S-Video recordings, as I haven't done any yet. I was quite pleased with some test runs I did of some stuff on the 360, though.
