Gameboy Advance

Post by jvalentine98 »

I just bought one. One of the old models cause I'm cheap. I got Shadowgate Classics, Deja Vu I & II for it. Excited about this system

I'd import Mother 3, getting it used is almost as much as getting a NIB modern game, but it's my favorite game of all time. Megaman Battle Network is a pretty unique game series exclusive to the console, I'd try to pick up #2 or #3 for about $5. Warioware Twisted has to be the best game of the series, definitely worth picking up. I'd stay away from the Super Mario Advance games, getting SMAS+SMW for the SNES would include three of the four games (the other being SMW2:YI). There's a ton of other games you should get, but these are the first things that come to mind.

Is that a 3DS XL in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me? ~ZeroAX

cool. Not a big fan of mario type games but I am going to get Double Dragon Advance purely for the kid in me. I got this instead of a DS because one it's cheap and it has a lot of games and two...it's like 3 systems in one. Looking forward to it

haven't seen them in a long time but there are some light/covers for the original gameboy advance.

They are ugly yet quite functional. The light can be angled for viewing cause O.G. gameboy advances have no back light. Also its a screen cover.

Protect that screen!

They do come in different colors. I've seen them in purple, white, and pinkish. heres a pic of one that I found online.

^ I got a launch "glacier white" model back when it came out, and Gamestop sold matching colored kits for the models. My white handheld and matching white cover/light look fine - so long as I do NOT attach the behemoth batter-pak/extra grip on the backside of the unit.. As long as the colors match, it looks great!

Awesome! If you need any recommendations, don't feel afraid to ask me. I love the GBA games and owned one as I was growing up. I love it!

Snag a copy of Astro Boy Omega Factor. It really is one of the best sidescrolling action games ever made.

Also, take advantage of them SNES ports. Link to the Past is wonderful on GBA, as well as the Donkey Kong Country series. Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion do an extraordinary job at picking up on what Super Metroid left behind.

Umm...DCK series on GBA are terrible ports.

They work. The SNES versions were definitely way better, but as portable titles, they play well IMO.
