We are all pretty much widespread all over the country.
with no competition per se.
But how many of you that find something and say. I'll come back later for it only to find that someone else got it when you weren't looking.
Or you snatched it with the other guy put it back.
Has it ever happened here that someone posts here a "find of the day" only for you to think " I just saw that exact same thing and that F*c%er took it away from me!"
Do you have any rivals in collecting in your hometown or county or even state? Bonus points if your rival is here on racketboy!
I know there must be some crazy stories here!

I do this too often. A couple of months ago there were $19.99 copies of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Metroid Prime Trilogy at K-Mart. Said to myself, "I'll wait till I get paid on Friday." Came back Friday, apparently some guy had just bought both games. That one still stings.
The owner of the local retro game shop keeps for himself a lot of the stuff he buys, and then tells me about it. Like, last week we had a conversation like this: Guy: Hey a 3DO came in here yesterday! Me: Okay cool, how much do you want for it? Guy: Oh, I'm not selling it. Me:
Some guy on craigslist was selling a Vextrex with a bunch of CIB games and all overlays for only $50! I responded only an hour too late, someone else had it.
Most of my rivals here only buy stuff to resell it. Which is really upsetting in my opinion. I'd almost rather miss out on something to someone who might actually enjoy what they have rather than enjoy the money they'll eventually make off of it.
