Is This A Pirate Super Famicom Cart?

Post by darthmunky »

Just wondering what this is exactly, it looks like super famicom cart. The back even says Nintendo Super Famicom Cassette but the box and label on the cart look really sketchy. Here's some pics:

Yeah, I'm pretty certain that's a pirate. A poor one at that.

I just opened up the cartridge and put it in the SNES, it's the right game and it's in English. Why would anyone want to pirate Aladdin though?

Absolutely without a doubt that's a bootleg. No title on the front of box or cart. Stretched picture. No system branding. No copyright paragraph, just a silly little "C Disney". And on and on. They didn't even try to make that thing look real. They just slapped on some crap to fill up the space.

But it was popular back in the day, I'm sure they sold tons of them.
