GH: World Tour Guitar & Rock Band 1 Prob (PS3)

Every compatibility chart I've seen on the net says that the GH: World Tour Guitar works on Rock Band 1 on the PS3. Yet every time I try to click on Solo Quickplay, I get the "Cannot detect mic" prompt message and it won't let me into the game. I've even tried reassigning the controller as "Controller 2" and "Controller 3." Nothing seems to make a difference. What gives - am I missing something??

Ok problem solved. It turns out that I had to download the latest patch release for Rock Band in order for the GH:World Tour Guitar to work.
