I've started doing a little console modding of my own but man I feel inferiour when I see stuff like that, Not the best I've seen but still way way better than I can do.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Yeah the Wii seems to get a lot of pretty looking mods. I haven't found any that are technically all that impressive though. The big logo I've seen done a bunch of times and the LED's has been done to death but beyond that and a little paint there ain't nothing that really grabs my attention.
Looks nice but.

it's a cool item.. the guy obviously spends more time making these systems than he does updating his website to make the links work

Anything more than cosmetic changes and he would only be limiting the potential buying audiance, as well as creating a higher failure rate for the hardware. Sure, I'd like one of the GC memory slots to be internal with a 16x card and the controller ports all internal wavebird, but it might just confuse the next guy, and god forbid something happen to that card or controller, the buyer will be calling demanding a refund when it quits working a year from now whether it was your mod work that shorted or not.Droid party wrote:Yeah the Wii seems to get a lot of pretty looking mods. Also his result is pretty damn far beyond a little paint and LEDs. Honestly, you don't have to be cooler than everything on the internet to hang out.
