If you liked Driver and Driver 2 then DSF is most definitely for you! Wheel support is there, and it enhances the game considerably. The PC version runs well, but AMD users might experience occasional flickering graphics, and the lighting isn't up to scratch. I'm also having doubts about the longevity of the main story, which is why I tend to play the unrelated side quests and challenges which were obviously tacked on to extend the lifespan of the game. I haven't tried multiplayer yet, and it's doubtful I'll be able to compete with gamepad-controlling players anyway. Oh and if you're expecting a faithful representation of Frisco, don't!
Too bad open-world driving games don't have this kind of compelling gameplay.

Yeah, I played the demo. I was totally psyched about this game....until I saw their interpretation of "San Francisco". It bothered me so much that I decided not to buy it.
I don't know anything about sf but I really enjoyed this game. The story is a bit silly but it's still fun and the side mission stuff just gives me something to do now that I've finished the story. Still loving just blasting around the city.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
