Dang! This is a tough one even after checking out the picks. The methods in which old school titles were sealed was very sketchy. Makes it hard to tell if it was resealed or not.

Granted, I haven't seen that many Genesis games where I could 100% authenticate as factory-sealed, but it definitely looks resealed to me.

A sealed game needs a view from every angle to get top dollar. With so many scammers they need to do everything they can to assure the buyer it's legit.

I personally can't disagree. The only sealed games I have are the ones I haven't yet open. :P

There is some discussion about this over at sega ages. I think the concensus was that Genesis games were placed in a tube of plastic and sealed at each end with something hot. You need to be able to see the top and bottom of the game to tell if it was sealed in this way :)

I don't recal buying any UK games sealed - they just had those little sega stickers over the edge of the boxes as far as I recall anyway
