Post by kingdomheights777 »

Sold my old Vizio 55" is sold to a friend. And this new 70" is the master of the theater/game room. I picked up the Sharp LC-70LE732U, its not edge lit, its the full array LED version. I tested TRON LEGACY Blu ray last night and good grief, it was a great experience. Here are update pics that i took tonight....this thing is GINORMOUS!!!!

It will look INSANELY LARGE in your room. How far back do you have to sit from one of those?

Damn, that's really gonna be something once you get it all set up, congrats.
I played on a 60" (I think) once and for a few hours it was completely overwhelming having my field of vision filled up like that. But once I got comfortable with it it was awesome.

Judging by his old pictures - roughly 6.5ft for the front row and 8ft for the back. This is by shaky memory ofcourse

Gross. I can't stand TVs over 50" anymore. It's hardly what I'd call HD considering how low the PPI is.

I remember when I first brought home my 50", I thought it was too big. That feeling only lasted about a week.

Congrats on the new TV. With 1080 sources becoming so prevalent, huge screens this size allow you to actually see the improved detail. I didn't even know they made LCDs this large. I thought this was the realm of plasma.
