What kind of games do you guys like? I have a lot of fun playing the Dynasty Warriors games with friends.

RE5 type games, or anything else that is not a first person shooter!brunoafh wrote:What kind of games do you guys like? I have a lot of fun playing the Dynasty Warriors games with friends.

Earth Defense Force is co-op and a third person shooter.wclem wrote:RE5 type games, or anything else that is not a first person shooter!brunoafh wrote:What kind of games do you guys like? I have a lot of fun playing the Dynasty Warriors games with friends.

Dead Island, you can meet up on the island together and kill zombies.
also Dead Rising 2 has a co-op story mode.

Lost Planet 2 is 4 player co-op all the way through. The PS3 version does not support system link, however. So you will still need to go through PSN to join the the systems.
Unreal Tournament 3 supports co-op LAN. Yes, it's a first person shooter, but it supports mods and a 3rd person cam can be downloaded. Even as an FPS, it plays nothing like the current gen dudebro games topping the charts.
Pretty sure Gran Turismo supports LAN.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 has a pretty cool co-op mode, but like Lost Planet 2, you will need to connect the systems online through PSN to play.
I think that Uncharted 3 supports co-op (and all game modes) via LAN.
Sega's upcoming 'Binary Domain' looks like a fun RE5/Gears of War style co-op 3rd person shooter.

I heard the Army of Two games as well as Kane and Lynch series are not that bad if your looking at third person coop shooters like RE5. They are also relatively cheap.
