Sega Rally is cool in some ways. The track deformation and vehicle damage are really cool and make use of particle effects really well. The physics engine and driving is what you'd expect. I like the fact there are many different surface types and detail near the sides of the track such as tall grass and bushes. Its hard to tell exactly where the side of the track is in a good way.

On the negative side this games stage lighting pales in comparison to games like PGR3 or DIRT. This game features real-time reflections and a few other things PGR3 didn't, but the overall feel is just kind of lost. The more I played it the more I liked the graphics, but the lack that instant next-gen look.

In a nutshell, this is way better than Sega Rally 2006, but I won't pick it up for more than $40. Kinda feel the same way about Virtua Tennis on 360. Its really just an incredibly polished version of a 7 year old game.
