Naruto: Clash of Ninja (Gamecube)
I've never really played any of these Naruto games before. But I played this one at a local store today and was very impressed. It is now on my wanted list of games for the Gamecube, along with the sequel; Clash of Ninja 2.
Can anybody tell me more about this game series?

Re: Naruto: Clash of Ninja (Gamecube)
I owned 2 before 1 and I can honestly say that they're pretty much the same thing.
Bought part 2 cheap cause my little cousin had a party and I let him borrow the cube.
There's four player for it. Saw all my little cousins playing it and they were perfectly happy playing it. Not to say its too simplistic but there are fighters with more 'meat' so to say.
Maybe cause they were kids, but they couldn't figure out that with the Z button they could change who they were fighting! Four player battle has two players locked together fighting each other, untill they pressed said button.
The game is cheap enough now at gamestop that you will not have any remorse over it being too expensive and not liking it.
There are other sequels for the Wii, I have yet to try those out.

Developed by Eighting/Raizing (the guys behind Bloody Roar 2, TVC, MVC3)
Only two installments released in North America where as in Japan the seires continued all the way to Clash Of Ninja 4. After that the series moved to the Wii.

I played 2 and 3 a lot back when they were new, and loved them very much. Great fighting games.

The 4th (Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4( is the best in the series (at least, on the GC). Hell of a lot more characters, transformations, 3 vs 3. The works. It's J only, though.
