opinions on this potential trade
I have an xbox 360 that I guess is the older model and I recently posted a thing on craigslist about a trade mentioning I want older games and/or systems. Someone responded to my ad saying they had a bunch of NES games (50), as well as the console and an n64 console with games (15) and a few sega games (12) (they didn't specify which console but I'm assuming it's probably for genesis seeing as that seems to be the most common.) I am pretty certain I wouldn't be able to get much if I sold the 360, I have tried for $100 with no luck and if I were to sell it I would buy more old games anyway so might as well trade. So anyways, I just wanted to get some opinions on whether or not this sounds like a good one to go through with.

Re: opinions on this potential trade
It really depends on what the games are, honestly. I'd ask for more details.
AMD Ryzen™ 9 7900X // MSI GAMING X TRIO GeForce RTX 3090

Re: opinions on this potential trade
So long as they're not all dirt cheap games I'd say it's a pretty good trade. If you express interest, make sure to get some names of the games to verify.
Re: opinions on this potential trade
also meet in person and bring any of the consoles that he does not have.

Re: opinions on this potential trade
id snag it up in a heartbeat and if you got even a few gems you got yourself a bargain because you even got the systems to play them on as far as crappy games (game play wise),dupes, or games you dont care for or what ever unload them in the BST thread and get something your after (dosent have to be a game maybe more controllers or something like that) after all that is the point of the BST section here right?
if its an older model 360 (no HDMI = 1st model - xenon motherboard) than it WILL RROD at some point any how
that is a HELL of a lot of games for the NES i doubt out of 50 games there are 50 duds LOL
im sure this dosent apply but here is another good question how long has it been since the 360 has been on XBL/internet? im sure it has been online or played a game that has been released in the last 3 years BUT if it hasn't and its JTAG'able there are people that pay good $$ for a JTAG 360.
i always seek out RROD systems that have been sitting in some ones closet for years on end to repair and JTAG as they are the only system (aside from the new 360 reset glitch hack that still needs to be completely refined to be at the same point as the JTAG 360) are the only systems that can run unsigned code I.E emulators and homebrew apps and things of that nature

That's pretty much exactly how I feel about it, I already have the systems but I figure I can keep them as extras or keep whichever looks better of the two and sell the other one, and the same would apply to the games. I have 60 something NES games so I'm sure that as far as common ones and such there will be doubles but I'm really not worried about that, as long as it is a good deal. The games I do know about make it sound promising.
As far as the 360 I honestly know nothing about it, I've had it for only a few months and hardly even played the thing. I know it was refurbished at one point or another (big lovely sticker) and I never got on the internet with it. I tried playing original xbox games on it to see if it had those updates or whatever and it doesn't. It does have HDMI... but it's the big bulky white model so i'm guessing it's maybe the pro, honestly idk, this is why I like my old school stuff, I likes to keep it simple. haha

I completely agree with this. I'd also ask to take a look at the stuff in person before agreeing to anything.o.pwuaioc wrote:So long as they're not all dirt cheap games I'd say it's a pretty good trade. If you express interest, make sure to get some names of the games to verify.

I'd do it. You might get some rare old NES games and older model Fratboxes are absolute garbage.

That looks like an excellent trade to me, as long as the games aren't just a bunch of Madden '9X titles. List of games, please? All I can make out is Sonic 2 and South Park.harper wrote:This is what I ended up getting
