I've had a Neo Geo CDZ for a short period of time (with around 25 games) and the load times are really beginning to irk me. I was well aware of the notorious load times which is why I opted for the CDZ. It didn't really bother me at first but it's gotten to the point where my sessions are cut short due to not wanting to wait. It's fine for older Neo Geo games such as Windjammers (
) but it kills my playthroughs of the later KOF's, Real Bout Special, The Last Blade etc. Pretty much any fighting game.Anywho, my question is, how accurate is the latest Neo4All for Dreamcast? Also, how are the load times compared to a Neo Geo CDZ? I'd test it out myself on my launch Dreamcast but I need to buy new cables (perhaps that's my answer...). I've heard it runs quite well but I'm looking for some more feedback because if it's more or less flawless, I plan on selling my Neo Geo CDZ. Looking to restart my Dreamcast collection anyways.
As much as I love owning Neo Geo CDZ and gazing at all of the fancy covers, is it worth dumping from a purely gameplay perspective?
