Can anyone tell me what it was that i saw?
I seen the weirdest thing. It was a small original playstation and it had a wired controller and it was blue and it was called block zone. I asked the clerk if i can see it and tell me what it was and he said no and it was a customers. So i am praying you gamers can tell me what the hell i saw. Thanks

Could it be this? It's black, not blue, but maybe could appear to be blue depending on the lighting.
You said it was a small original Playstation. Are you talking about the PS One redesign model?

The controller was blue and called Block Zone, or was the PS1 was blue and called Block Zone? If it was the controller, it's just yet another 3rd party controller. If it was the PS1 itself, it's either a limited edition or a custom thing.

Probably one of many bootleg consoles using the PS1's form factor, a la "Polystation."

No it looked like a original playstation. The system and controller both said block zone on it. And the system was 8 inches long. And the controller was 2 or 3 inches long

That's definitely a bootleg, as dedalusdedalus suggested. Don't feel bad that you couldn't buy it, those bootleg systems always suck.mas wrote:No it looked like a original playstation. Yeah. Hence why I said "bootleg consoles using the PS1's form factor."mas wrote:No it looked like a original playstation.

Depends on the particular bootleg, but it's probably older games. Polystation had a bunch of bootlegged NES games on it.mas wrote:Ok thanks but what games were on it? Bootleg ps1 or games like atari.

there are different colored shells that were once available for playstations. There are similar things for newer consoles too. Like clear Xboxes and Special PS2's.
Theres a guy selling one at my local fleamarket. Havent asked him how much its going for. Should still be there tho. Dont really care for it cause I already own some playstations.
The PS1 is This Color more or less, Kinda Clearish, and there's no distinguishing stickers on it. Just empty spots where the PS logo should go. Its just a new shell around the board.
But the funny thing is that whoever owned this console added a light stick to it. Its flopping around the side and its wired to the motherboard. I can see the wiring connecting through the board.
So anyways, far as I know it may just a playstation with a different colored shell.
