I aint played it in quite a while - tbh Im STILL hurting from the lack of the original Jin since TTT on, hence Tekken 3/TTT are my favourites and I'm hoping TTT2 will have 'original Jin' in it :/

I still have it on the PSP, haven't DL for PS3; can't say Tekken series is heading in the right direction after 6 - will see TTT2 brings to the table, and how well does Street Fighter X Tekken do.

Personally i enjoy 6BR, and it appears so does Asia as it was the highest grossing arcade title in japan last year (or was it the previous year i forget lol!) and player feedback for TTT2 is looking real good so i'm sure the game will be an instant hit! And what does SFxT have anything to do with the direction of the Tekken series!? the game is being handled exclusively by crapcom. Unless you were refering to TxSF! :)

SF X T should be a good indicator on how lasting are Tekken's characters compared with SF; remember each franchise needs to have characters that players hold on to. My bros and I have a hard time following up with the new characters being introduced for 6, I mean come on, how messed up is the Mishima family? Now they have a white Mishima - Lars!!! And character balance didn't follow up with increased numbers of a playable characters for Tekken.

My bro stopped playing 6 entirely after playing it for about 3 months, and he strongly believes that the next Tekken needs to trim the roster to about 20 characters, and making sure that each is truly unique (less of Jin vs Devil or Nina vs Anna) and more balanced (he loved Lei and bitched about him being nerfed from 3 and on) - he has played almost every Tekken game and beats the hell out of me!

I don't know if you can trim or downsize character roster. The next thing, Namco might start retiring some of the characters due to old age. tbh, Tekken just so happens to be one of the few fighting games where I do give a darn about the story. I don't think I had any problems with the roster, but I didn't find the story particularly interesting or at least memorable.

personally thats the reason i dont play tekken6, its too many damn characters and the helping hand of noob easy juggles just make elite player feel like a waste of time and effort to learn all that prior to 6.

Just bring the roster back to tekken tag or tekken 5 dr and im a happy camper :D
