What is this product?

I found this company:

they seem to sell something that supercharges a server or a computer, I am not sure. What is it? is it a processor? is this overclocking? Looks interesting. I heard of such things existed in the late 80's where you buy an add-on to your computer that will make it run extra fast.

It does look like a speedup board of some kind. Price and compatibility might be an issue. Speedup boards have been around for a long time.

Here is a C64 four times speedup, it actually makes Jet 2.0 very playable.

looks like it's essentially a PCI-e based SSD built out of DRAM instead of traditional flash memory.

It's a very large, very fast RAM disk.

*also likely to be so expensive only large companies will be purchasing them, it's definitely not for the home market.

interestinf maybe they should make speed up boards for home market, u can use your pc for much longer or as a second hand donation
