The monitor looks kinda whack on the right side whats up with that? My biggest concern would be with the monitor, that is because if it is something to major I know I probably can't fix it. $150 sounds like a good deal if that monitor ain't to bad. Since it is not a dedicated cab and just a Bad Dudes (sorry if some people love this game) I would put at least six buttons in it so you could play almost anything you would want to.

It all comes down to how much you will play it and if YOU think it is worth it. How much fun are YOU gonna have with it. Personally my cab get 85% of my game time since I got it.

Lets hear what the more experienced have to say. Any one got any monitor information to be on the look out for? Could it just be a cap kit?

I would play it a ton, I would also be looking to get a new paint job on it, of course this would be a long long project.

Normally I'd say go for it, but this time I'd wait.

Incidentally, I totally am not within driving distance of that.

You could wait for another cheap cab that has a bigger monitor with no problems. Then you could just buy what ever pcbs you want like the MVS. You could probably find a one slot with some games for less than $100.

I've been looking for SNK arcades for over a year now and this is the cheapest I can find near me.

First just go play it, go drop a couple dollars in it and see it in person. That way you can check everything out and ask questions.

Have you seen any other arcade machines around? You could just buy a MVS board and games on the Neo-Geo forms or e-bay.

That is what I was trying to ask, have you seen any other cabs for sale in your area?

Honestly, with the button configuration being as it is, along with the monitor, I'd save up a few hundred extra bucks and get a proper dedicated cabinet- you'll thank yourself later.

Also, bear in mind with how affordable MVS carts are, you'll likely be swapping out games a lot. Dedicated cabinets have a hinged control panel which makes swapping carts a breeze. That Bad Dudes cabinet would make this a headache, as you would have to remove the rear access door whenever you wanted to swap games. If you plan on having this machine against a wall I imagine it would be very tiresome after awhile.

Get yourself a dedicated one to four slot cab for 400-600 smackers, you'll be happy you did.
