Great Games You Own But Haven't Played Yet

Post by Weekend_Warrior »

If you're like me then you probably have a really sick habit of constantly buying games and then putting them aside, only to search out and buy more games... and put those aside, and on and on the cycle goes.... :D

So what are some of those really great games you have but still haven't played yet?

Here are some of mine:
Super Star Wars (SNES)
Starfox 64 (N64)
Star Wars: Rogue Leader (NGC)
Goldeneye 007 (Wii)
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)
Rocket Knight Adventures (Genesis)
Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master (Genesis)
Vectorman 2 (Genesis)
Quake (Saturn)
Ferarri F355 Challenge (Dreamcast)
Gran Turismo 2 (PS1)
Crash Team Racing (PS1)
Twisted Metal Black (PS2)
Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS2)
Castlevania: The Dracula X Collection (PSP)
Far Cry Instincts (Xbox)
Jet Set Radio Future (Xbox)
Max Payne 2: Fall of Max Payne (Xbox)
Red Dead Revolver (Xbox)
TOCA Race Driver 2 (Xbox)
Assassin's Creed (360)
Call of Duty 2 (360)

Gears of War 2 (360)
Halo 3 (360)
Left 4 Dead (360)
Need For Speed: Carbon (360)

Yeah I bought Max Payne 2 for the PS2 the other day, haven't played it yet either. I still have to get through several other games first.

A few years back, this list was a lot longer.

Here's all the games I own but haven't given any time to, including all the ones I've only played for like 15 minutes to try them out. Only the ones that actually work of course.

Metroid Prime 3 (Wii)
Monster Hunter Tri (Wii)
Mushroom Men (Wii)
Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)
Lostwinds 2 (WiiWare)
Metroid Prime 2 (GC)
Resident Evil 4 (GC)
Wave Race Blue Storm (GC) (kinda, I played this a little more, but I never got anywhere in it)
Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes (DS)
Warioland II (GB)
Rayman 2 (DC)
Panzer Dragoon Zwei (Saturn)
Ax Battler: Legend of Golden Axe (GG)
Dark Arms Beast Buster (NGPC)
Final Fantasy VIII (PS1)
Final Fantasy VII (PS1)

Wow....thats a little longer than I expected :?

A bunch but the two most shameful are Final Fantasy VIII and IX. I own them on disc but haven't started them for two reasons. 1) I haven't finished VII yet (made it to the third disc the other night) and 2) I want to get the PSN versions so I can play them on my PSP.

There's a lot of these... first the games I've started but never finished. These are all games I've played for only a couple of hours or less...

Dragon Age: Origin (PC)
Gears Of War 2 (Xbox 360)
Shadow Of The Colossus (PS2)
Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow (Xbox 360)
Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360)
Prototype (PC)
Jak & Daxter (PS2)
Breath Of Fire III (PSP)
Just Cause 2 (PC)

Games I own and haven't even touched yet.

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition (PC)
Dark Sector (PC)
F.E.A.R (PC)
F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin (PC)
Metro 2033 (PC)
STALKER: Shadow Of Chernobyl (PC)
STALKER: Call Of Pripyat (PC)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC)
Vampire: Bloodlines (PC)
Ratchet & Clank (PS2)
Rayman 3 (PS2)
Skies Of Arcadia (Dreamcast)
Shenmue (Dreamcast)

There are a lot more games I plan to "get around to playing" but I don't actually own them yet.

The sad thing is... I'm playing Final Fantasy VII now for the, probably 4th time all the way through. You'd think I'd play one of the games I haven't finished yet wouldn't you.
