I need to mod my saturn someone help me (maybe volunteer)
And I'm not to good at soldering. So I need some help. Can anyone direct me to some people that might do it?? I might have my uncle do it,but I dont know if I can get ahold of him. Anyway I might also consider paying someone or trading someone as well. I got the complete saturn iso set usa and I think I have the europe and japan sets as well. I also have the complete neo geo cd sets and the complete snes rom set and complete genesis rom and nintendo set as well. If someone wants to do this for me I can pay cash or can offer copies of the iso sets. which are complete and have all the isos on dvds. These are official isos not the isos on the net with the iso and seperate copies of the audio tracks. Now I'm not jumping to conclusions as I might find someone here in my town that can do it. If not I might have to opt for sending my saturn abroad and doing it that way. Anyway if anyone is interested get back at me and let me know whats good. You can either drop me a pm here or email me at [email protected].

if your mod chip has a solid wire, and not a threaded one. then you do not need to solder at all. all you would need to do is hook the wire going to the saturn board, and use tweezers to clamp it. then push the other wire into the power clamp(you can also do this with the threaded wire, but its a pain in the ass)
Which Mod Chip Do I need
I dont have the mod chip yet so I'm not sure which one it will be. My saturn is the one with the round buttons and not the oval. Will the mod chip that racketboy sells be able to fit in my saturn?? If anyone can give me a heads up on this I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.

People have, but I don't recommend it for a long-term solution.
It probably won't hurt anything, but it could come undone fairly easily.
You will need to solder just a LITTLE bit on the chip itself to do the A+B method.

My Saturn with round buttons was different inside than all the tuturial pics on the web, but my friend still found a way to make it work. He's designed his own console mods for sale though so he's quite the expert. I'd have been lost on my own because I don't know jack about stuff like that. One major problem we had with my model was a piece of metal blocking where the chip slides into its port. We were going to file it down but just ended up bending it about a centimeter over.
