Is there a way to poke around PS2 disc content on the PC?
I remember Hobie or CRT talking about how the PS2 HDD has a way that you can look at pictures and watch videos that are stored on PS2 ISO's you've dumped to the HDD. I'm curious if there's something similar for PC?

I've put some PS2 games in my PC DVD drive and some let you see the content, some didn't. When they did show the content, I could see their weird file extensions but I could never view anything.

PS1 discs have STR files that can be viewed with a player on the PC. Maybe the PS2 discs are similar? Its been a while since I poked around the contents of a PS2 disc, usually just dumping the disc for HDAdvance/HDLoader. I think some did have wallpaper on the discs viewable on a PC, can't remember which ones they were.

Maybe you're thinking of some of the PS1 utilities?
