The Best PS 3 Exclusives

Post by Gamerforlife »

Since someone did a thread like this for the 360, might as well show the PS 3 some love. I actually think the PS 3 has a surprisingly strong line up of exclusives in this increasingly multi-platform world. For starters you have:

Heavy Rain
Flower
Valkyria Chronicles

And while I'm too early into the game to pass judgement on it, I've found Folkore to be pretty cool so far

It's not very well known, but there is a series called Uncharted that is pretty neat. I wrote Sony a letter and told them I liked it. They wrote back and told me that if I promised to buy it, they'd make an Uncharted 2. I fulfilled my promise. I wrote them again and told them that a part 3 might be good. I think they might do it. Anyone else ever hear of this game?

I dunno, I played a demo for Yakuza 3 and I wasn't that impressed.

They're incredibly awesome over the top beat em up RPGs with themes heavily grounded in (exaggerated) Japanese culture. I've enjoyed no franchise more this gen. I suppose they're a bit hit or miss in general, but yeah. I'm embarrassed to admit the amount of hours I've sunken into this franchise overall.

One of my favorite ps3 franchises, yet underrated, is the Motorstorm series. Other than that, in the form of FPSs, I enjoy Resistance and Killzone. A couple of other games I liked, although are online heavy, are Warhawk, which is getting a sequel next year :), and Mag.
