Help changing SCD game region code

Post by BoringSupreez »

I'd like to play the Japanese version of Sonic CD on my US SCD. I know I could just burn the Japanese soundtrack to an otherwise American version, but that leaves the videos stuck with the American soundtrack. Does anyone know how I could get the Japanese version to run on my SCD? scdconv v. 2.50 says it doesn't work with Sonic CD.

Never mind, I found a solution. This site has a converter tool that's supposed to work better than scdconv, especially for converting Japanese ISO's to other regions.

That sounds like a good idea. I assume its like the Sega Saturn Region patcher. I never liked the idea of doing a multibios for the Sega CD.
