PSP Memory Stick Question
What is the largest memory stick available in the MS Pro Duo format? I currently have a 16GB memory stick and I'd like to get a larger one. Those Final Fantasy games eat up a lot of memory and end up have to choose between whether to delete final fantasy 7 or 8

If that's the case, time to snipe an auction off eBay!noiseredux wrote:I'm fairly certain there's a 32GB one.

there's also some adapter that lets you use like two SD cards in a Pro Duo stick. Look into that too. Might get you higher than 32GB.

I hear it's slow as a snail, but it can hold a massive amount of memory.noiseredux wrote:and then give me yr 16GBAdamGomez1987 wrote:If that's the case, time to snipe an auction off eBay!noiseredux wrote:I'm fairly certain there's a 32GB one.![]()

Re: PSP Memory Stick Question
It doesn't -- you can only use a max of 2 16GB SDHC cards. Also, you MUST format the stick IN THE PSP, not on your computer. The adapter treats both SD cards together as ONE card. Meaning you can't swap them around, and if one corrupts, you lose everything.noiseredux wrote:and then give me yr 16GBAdamGomez1987 wrote:If that's the case, time to snipe an auction off eBay!noiseredux wrote:I'm fairly certain there's a 32GB one.![]()

They aren't the most reliable adapters.
The biggest official pro duo is 32GB, and is the biggest size the PSP can address.

Re: PSP Memory Stick Question
Just might be what I'm looking for unless the 64GB one comes out first
that and the PSP 3000 will be on my list
Thanks for all of your help everyone, I've been to a handful of game forums and am really glad that this one isn't a junkie of World of Warcraft and Call of Duty
that and the PSP 3000 will be on my list
Re: PSP Memory Stick Question
Even with a modded psp, is the max still two 16gb micro sd in a photo fast adapter?

Re: PSP Memory Stick Question
Over at gbatemp.net someone was able to use 128GB memory stick (2 64GB microSD in an adapter). Pretty amazing.
