PS3: What Are The Standout Games?

I'm thinking about saving up for a PS3, but I'm kind of on the fence about it. It is the most expensive system on the market, so I'm wondering if it's really worth my money or not.

First of all, I don't own an HD-TV, so the Blu-Ray aspect of it really doesn't influence me one way or the other. I'm pretty much only concerned with the games.

What are some of the best games on the system in your opinion? I'm into action-RPGs or Western RPGs (not JRPGs), action games, horror games like RE, and space-ship shooters. I know that I'd pick up Demon's Soul and God of War III right away, what some other good ones?

As you stated, Demons Souls and God of War III are among the best. Make sure to download Flower as well!

Oooohhhhhh man. I just saw a review for the Back to the Future episodic games, and dang. That might have convinced me. You can't imagine how much I love the Back to the Future movies.

amen or else it wont be worth the purchased lol. But the plus is free online and blu ray drive.

I hate to agree. But yeah. I got an HD monitor for my PS3 about a week after I got my PS3. haha. It makes SUCH a difference.
