Glitch in Landstalker (german version)?

I have a problem while playing Landstalker (ger.) on my retrogen (I haven't tried it out on the genesis/megadrive jet because some cables have gone missing...). In the beginning your supposed to rescue some weird furry princess and I do get to the place and go back up the mountain to get around the guards, but now to the problem, when I get behind the princess, up the mountain, the scene goes on and the hero jumps down, but I cant get away from there! The chicken on the yard also freaks out and runs around like hell but everything else seems to be just fine. I'm stuck behind the statues and the trees. Am I just missing something I should be doing or is it a glitch?

Pleas help me.

So, I found the problem (or more the solution). There is a (not all that obvious) path to the left in the screen where you should be able to get back up on the mountain!

No worries, I find often that if I just make the effort of asking somebody I'll figure it out my self ... it's like when you lose a corkscrew or something and buy a new... and the old one finds it way back to you for some reason. ;P
