Hey guys,
I've been in the market for a decent fighter pad on the Dreamcast, something similar to what Capcom did for SFII's 15th anniversary with PS2 pads, ideally, of course. Would you cats know of any such thing? I've seen one or two, and they've not gotten very good reviews.

If you have a PS2 pad you like, you could get a PS to DC adapter instead of another controller. The one I have is called Total Control Plus and people should have them for sale on ebay.

Thanks man, that's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. Nice.

How does that work by the way? I've got a few revisions and I forgot which was which, but when you put the ASCII fighterpad to a converter, some of the 6 face-buttons just don't map right?

Works fine for me. I use a ps2 arcade stick with it to play 3rd strike, Garou, and MvC 2. Button mapping hasn't been a problem, but you can remap buttons in those games anyway.

Saturn controllers are also excellent with an adapter. Capcom's fighter pads basically mimic a Saturn pad anyway...

ASCII pad FT

ASCII stick FT

I prefer the ASCII stick FT for fighting games because it's got an 8-way stick, and the official Agetec DC stick -the green one as posted by flojocabron- for shooters because of its 4-way stick...

both are 8 way actually. agetech using a square gate like this http://lizardlick.3dcartstores.com/Sanw ... p_240.html
and the ascii has no gate. and further more the agetech is ok for shooters. personally i prefer seimitsu for shooters and if i really need to sanwa for fighters. not sure where you got that the agetech is 4 way. some knowledge for the uninitiated http://www.slagcoin.com/joystick/restrictors.html
