Netflix decided that you should start to pay around double for access to their whole library.

Well this stinks.
Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

I read somewhere that they will be eventually be looking to shut down the DVD delivery service and go all digital. This may be their indirect push to move people that way, but they need more quality programming in that arena.

I got the message in my email earlier today. That sucks. I'll be relying on a combination of RedBox, YouTube, and Cable TV after September comes.

Damn, that's a spike.

I have some friends that have completely dropped cable and just sign up for Netflix and Hulu now, wonder if it still saves you a lot of money in the end even with these increased Netflix prices?

The sad thing is, I'd rather go the DVD delivery route simply because the films I use the service for aren't available on their streaming service. Of a queue of 100, fewer than 20 have that option. I use this service to gain access to older films that I wouldn't ever get a chance to see through other legitimate means.

Yuck! They knock out Blockbuster and Hollywood and now they think they can get away with jerking around their customers?
