Episode 4 in Doom
Is it me or it's stupidly difficult? I just finished level 2 and I was sweating, that's how intense it is IMO.
Re: Episode 4 in Doom
It is very difficult, and meant to be so!
Keep at it. Thy Flesh Consumed is brutal and goes right into the beatings on the first level without hesitation. But the levels are great fun and its rewarding as hell to complete it.
For what its worth, the second stage is probably the hardest one. You should be good to go now.
What difficulty level are you playing on?

Hurt Me Plenty, I played on that difficulty throughout the whole game (PC and 360 version, yes, I did beat Thy Flesh Consumed before). I thought I just plain suckedCFFJR wrote:It is very difficult, and meant to be so!![]()

Thy Flesh Consumed is basically the fps equivalent of having Segata Sanshiro kick your ass over and over.KillerJuan77 wrote:Hurt Me Plenty, I played on that difficulty throughout the whole game (PC and 360 version, yes, I did beat Thy Flesh Consumed before). What difficulty level are you playing on?. It's good to know that it's really hard.
I somehow got through the game on Nightmare. Don't ask me how. Long nights and lots of frustration. The night (morning) I beat it at that difficulty I remember thinking how good it felt, followed by vomiting.
Really Thy Flesh Consumed is the only one that made me want to give up. Several attempts on the first level ended with me unplugging my desktop and putting it in the closet.
Looking back on it now, I think Doom gave me an ulcer.
Older. Not wiser.

Holy hell man. I've beaten it on Ultra Violence, but Nightmare? The respawns make me crazy.RyaNtheSlayA wrote: Thy Flesh Consumed is basically the fps equivalent of having Segata Sanshiro kick your ass over and over.

I bow to your superior Doom skills.

PC, Xbox 360, Wii (Unofficially) and I have my GBA version somewhere (I think I might have lost it when I moved from my older house). But right now I'm playing the Xbox 360 version, achievements FTW, although beating it in Ultra Violence or Nightmare is way beyond my gaming skills so I applaud you guysLone Wanderer wrote:God I love Doom. I was going to get the Saturn version for lulz though, 5 FPS Doom FTMFW

Just goes to show you that Doom is not for the weak. If it senses weakness from you, it will devour you.

I'm at level 4 now and I nearly punched my TV.GSZX1337 wrote:Just goes to show you that Doom is not for the weak. If it senses weakness from you, it will devour you.

Careful about touching the TV. Doom might devour you and it'll be like Tron. But with demons.KillerJuan77 wrote:I'm at level 4 now and I nearly punched my TV.GSZX1337 wrote:Just goes to show you that Doom is not for the weak. If it senses weakness from you, it will devour you.
