Just a heads up you guys, the (US anyway) license for TMNT Turtles In Time Reshelled is expiring on June 30th. Which means Ubisoft will have to pull it from the PSN. Which means buy it before then!

what's really odd was that I was thinking about picking it up LAST NIGHT because my wife mentioned the original game. So yeah, I'm not totally gonna grab this before the end of the month.

Have you played Turtles in Time arcade? It's that game but with updated visuals and somewhat toned down difficulty. I enjoyed it for the beat em up that it is - not one of the best ever, but a fun romp nonetheless.

An expired license has done what Shredder, Baxter Stockman, Krang, and even Krang in a big robot suit could never do: defeated the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Reader Marty alerted us to an ad on the PlayStation Store noting that it's the "Last Chance to Purchase!" Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled. We then checked with Ubisoft, who revealed to Joystiq that the game is going away in the US on June 30.

So if you were ever planning on trying that out, perhaps with a nice pizza ... do it now. But do replace that pizza you ordered two years ago when you first had the idea.

The awkward diagonal attacking, new ugly graphics, and horrible remixed music... I won't miss it.

Does this only apply to PSN? I purchased it over on the XBLM, is it being removed there too?

Speaking as someone that is not a connoisseur of either the original arcade version or the SNES version, I find it to be a decent enough multiplayer game to kill a little time when I have company over. The few times I've had to babysit a friend's kids, its been a big hit.
