Any book readers here?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Any book readers here?

Post by racketboy »

I figured most of us have media interests other than games...
Any of you read anything interesting lately?

I'm currently reading The Big Moo (edited by Seth Godin)
It's a great marketing/business book that perfect for short reading sessions

He's one of my favorites too. I think Choke is my favorite too, although I haven't read Fight Club. I also really liked Survivor.

I recommend all books from Douglas Adams. I still prefer the Hithchiker's Guide ones, but the others have lots of merit as well. "Last Chance to See", written with biologist Mark Carwardine is quite interesting and is really a different twist on Adams writing style (it is not fiction), and "The meaning of Liff" is a dictionary style book that basically makes you laugh about those strange things in life, like "when you go to the kitchen to do something, but on getting there forget what you went there to do" or something.

I only read one book from Pratchett (hopefully I spelt that right), but I was very impressed with it and would like to read more on the author's books (and in particular the Discworld ones).

That is it for now regarding books,
Ivo.
