I've beaten Beyond Oasis many times and just finished Legend of Oasis today. I've been looking around for other games on any platform that are in the same vein and I'm not finding much. Most take a bit too much from Zelda in terms of one-hit combat. Are there any other fantasy games that have a big focus on combat like the Oasis games, with weapons and moves and such, in real time? I'm aware of the Landstalker/Alundra games, but they're sort of the one-button fighting that I'm not looking for right now. Castlevania Symphony of the Night was sort of similar in sidescrolling 2D sense as well, although I'm sort of looking for top down.
I guess I was thinking old 16 and 32-bit games, but if there's a more modern 3D offering I'll check those out too. Thanks for the recommendations!
Any games like the Oasis/Thor series?

I have to admit I am little confused by what you are asking. Anything I can think of similiar to Oasis is similiar to LoZ. But I wil try to list some that I think you are trying to find.
Herc's Adventure: PS/Sat

Brave Fencer: PS

Threads of Fate: PS

Dragon Valor: PS

Thats all I can think of that emphasize on combat.

I think he wants combat were you can perform "combos". Were attacking doesn't mean just hitting one button repeatedly. It almost sounds like you want top down beat 'em ups. However, trying to stay with the "fantasy" and 2D guidelines, here are a few that might be close. You might have already looked at these and ruled them out, but in case you haven't...
Elemental Gimmick Gear
Crusader of Centy
Shining Wisdom
Here is another that is probably not what you are looking for, as it is isometric, and more focused on puzzles...
Light Crusader
But I agree with Peph, most of these games are similar to LoZ/LttP, but then again, so are the Oasis games.

Thanks, guys. I actually have Herc's Adventures and I've never played it - looks like a lot of fun. I've played Light Crusader (odd game) and Centy. I'll check out those PSX games.
I think spiritplx said it better than me - I should start looking for top-down beat em ups. Perhaps that will give me the 'more than one attack' fix. Know of any? (Only one I can think of is Avengers, which sucked.)

Well if your going that route:
Dragonball Origins 1 and 2 DS, are both pretty good and have a varied combat system.
