This new Ratchet & Clank game is looking dissapointing
I'm talking about All 4 One. R&C was one of my favorite PS exclusive franchises, why'd they have to go and turn it into a multi-player thing? I just want another good long single player game with lots of replay value, like number 2 and 3. But no, we get a more mainstream, multi-player focused type of game.

They've released 7 completely single player Ratchet and Clank games. Along with Deadlocked which had both single and multiplayer.
I don't think its fair to complain about them wanting to make one game out of the standard mold every once in a while. Deadlocked and Secret Agent Clank were good and I'm willing to bet All 4 One will be as well.

Holy crap. Thats an awful lot of games in not an awful lot of time.
Re: This new Ratchet & Clank game is looking dissapointing
I heard its supposed to be entirely playable with just one person. Like, you get an AI buddy and the game scales the difficulty to match or something like that. I know what you mean though, I'm not a big co-op person. I might just have to try it this time.
Either way, I'm not too bummed out. I mean, there are like 7 other games in the series with tons of replay value...
I do want them to pick up the regular future series though. The last game's ending was like a cliffhanger, right? I can't really remember, it was a while ago :/

To add to my previous comment - I think this one is supposed to be kind of like the short quest for booty PSN game, or Deadlocked. It's not really part of the main series. They release a game that doesn't really follow their regular formula every now and then.
Also you spelled disappointing really really wrong and it makes me sad.

This one looks good, I'm not sure what the problem is. It looks like X-Men Legends with Ratchet and Clank gameplay.
EDIT:
Also you didn't use the edit button and it makes me sad.

Me too, why wouldn't you use your friend, the edit button?

As another huge Ratchet & Clank fan, I am pretty weary of it as well. I would much rather have another highly polished Future game. Just judging from the videos that have been released it doesn't look anywhere near as sharp and focused as the last two games and is just more "me too" New Super Mario Bros. Wii-style co-op.
I am not interested in playing platform games with other people at all.

Neither am I. Shooters and RTS games are very adaptable to multiplayer, but platformers feel like they should be single player games. I've tried NSMB 2-player, and it was nowhere near as fun as playing by myself.

For what it's worth, I've been playing the Ratchet and Clank games since the 2002 and I'm really looking forward to this one.

I thought it looked fine. Does it have to be highly polished and sharp? Ratchet: Deadlocked was no where near as polished as Going Commando was and that game kicked ass!
and is just more "me too" New Super Mario Bros. Wii-style co-op.
I think you mean more "me too" Gauntlet Legends style co-op.

I take it you haven't played Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers or Sonic the Hedgehog 2?
That's because New Super Mario Bros. Wii's multiplayer was shit.I've tried NSMB 2-player, and it was nowhere near as fun as playing by myself.
