Looking For A New Laptop

Post by lisalover1 »

I am in the market for a new laptop; my old one is getting old. Also, it could never run Windows without overheating. What I want in a new laptop is an i7 processor, a USB 3.0 port, HDMI Out, and a screen capable of a 1080p resolution. I also want a Hard Drive that is about 500 GB or more. I want something that will last me a while, and can run most modern PC games smoothly. Is there anything out there that any of you can recommend?

I'll start by suggesting this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834152258

Very fairly priced considering what you're getting.

I'll just second the idea that going with newegg is a good choice.

I recommend this : http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Battalio ... ing_Laptop

Please note the Geforce 460M is actually a way more powerful card then the 540M. It may have less harddrive space, and less RAM. But it will kick that MSI's ass in gaming.

lisalover, I don't know if you've ordered from them before but New Egg is absolutely great. Fast shipping, great customer service, etc. Plus if you qualify, or already have it, a New Egg Preferred Account will get you 12 months no interest on this laptop.

I'll also suggest going through New Egg. I've always been extremely happy with them.

NewEgg is awesome. 8)

I think you'd be better off getting a really nice desktop kit computer and a netbook if you need to travel somewhere.

Well that's what I would do.
