I just got back from college and have been looking forward to finally hooking up the old genesis again! Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out how to get it up and running. I know that sounds pathetic but it's been awhile.
Basically there's two cords that plug into the back. I have the power block plugged in and when I press the start button on the genesis the power light turns on. I have the TV out plugged into the back of my TV but there doesn't seem to be any sort of wire for the antenna in plug. I'm assuming you all know what I'm referring to? If not I can clarify.
I think this may be why nothing comes on screen when I turn my Genesis on. Anyone care to tell me what I'm missing/what kind of wire I should be looking for?

Re: Question on hooking up my Genesis
Genesis and Snes all in one AC adapter
RCA cables since you said there isnt an RF adapter on your TV. Also picture will be much more vibrant with RCA than RF. you can find the RCA here

Not exactly sure which wire you're talking about here. Do you have an RF adapter (plugs into the cable in on your TV) or A/V cables (red, white, and yellow - maybe just white and yellow)?Sideroller wrote:I have the TV out plugged into the back of my TV but there doesn't seem to be any sort of wire for the antenna in plug. You can get all that in the Racketboy store, btw: http://www.racketboy.com/store/sega-genesis.html
