I just tried to install a modchip in a 32pin model 2.
Nothing boots if i turn the system on with the door closed, it just reads everything as music.
But if i leave it open and then close it, originals will give me the start application button and will run fine.
Backups will just read as music.
I tried both the a+b and soldering to the chip.
Also these backups have been booted on another model 1 saturn via swap so i dont think those are the problem.
