Some questions on Youtube for the PS3

I got a PS3 slim around Christmas time and just recently started using it. I updated to System 3.60 and started playing around with Youtube. I'm interested in accessing the family videos that I have uploaded.

Using the PS3 Youtube XL "applet", I'm able to login but it doesn't show any of the videos that I uploaded. My videos are all private or semi-private. Could that be why they don't show up even though I'm logged?

I also don't see any option for selecting the resolution of a video like you can on the PC. There's no option for HD quality.

I also tried bringing up the regular youtube page on the browser but it seems even more busted. The youtube page shows that the Adobe Flash Player needs to be download.

I probably should just give up trying to do any browsing on any gaming device. They're just not cut out for it.
