Mayflash Classic Controller to USB adapter

Post by fastbilly1 »

Since I have so many Wii accessories, and had just been given an amazon giftcard, I figured I would risk it. Well the adapter is not a bust, it actually works really well. Classic Controller and Hori stick both work well (even though it interprets the l and r buttons on the stick as sliders in win7). But the neatest part of this is that it has two (2) ports on it and will interpret each controller as an individual controller. So if you want to play say Trine and have two Classic Controllers, well you are set. Or if you prefer to play your Wii games via Dolphin, well it works well there too.

I just thought I would share this neat device I recently found. It works well with no lag that I could tell. There is a review of it on youtube if you want more information:

And yes, it does look silly.

That's interesting that you say it has no lag. I found it had so much lag I couldn't even sell it to someone else in good conscience. One of the few adapters I've ever actually thrown away in complete and utter disgust.

Really? Mine has little to none. Unlike my Mayflash Nes/Snes to Gamecube adapter that has a full second of lag on most games.

Which controllers did you use and what OS?

I'd love to check this out, but I've got a Mac and I don't game on it at all. Also I don't really like the classic controller much.

Mayflash in my experience makes some pretty decent stuff for a small chinese company. A while back I bought a NES and SNES to Wiimote adapter they made, and modded it for NES 7 pin compatibility, completely removing the need for classic controllers in any of the games that use it. just use a SNES pad!

I'm really curious about these as they have potential to stock in the store.
Do you think I should pick one up to try out?
