Hella = condensed awesomeness

The only ones I'd heard of are the Advantage, Minibosses, and Black Mages. Looks like I've got some researching to do. Don't know if i'd consider the Black Mages a cover band since Uematsu is a member.

Melt Banana is one of my favorite bands ever! The boredoms are quite awesome as well.

JT - I feel like you and I probably listen to a ton of the same music. Granted I know you know more about industrial and electronic music, but the world of post-punk/hardcore and noise etc. overlap a lot with that. Several other of the members seems to be into the same stuff.


BTW. I am now a fan of Vomitron due to that article. They are pretty masterful and I like how they sort of sound like a video game.
