I know there are a few other people here in the Seattle area, so I thought this would be of interest. The University of Washington magazine, Columns, just released this article about the business of gaming, particularly as it relates to the NorthWest.

There are some interesting statistics in there about the huge size of the casual and mobile markets.
This was their teaser tagline: "Did you know that 26% of video gamers are older than 50? That twice as many women play video games as boys under 17? Or that the game industry contributed nearly $480 million to Washington’s economy in 2009? Those are just a few of the things you’ll learn in this issue of Columns"
