Ebay help

Post by ilovesega »

Ok, so i won an item off ebay and the guy had some issues shipping to my address which is understandable. He wanted more for shipping or a refund. I asked for a refund and he issued a request and told me to say yes and he'll refund me. But ebay even warns you before clicking yes to get refunded first. I contacted him and he said hes going to send an end of order, and to just say yes. I haven't dealt with this before, but i'm guessing i shouldn't and if i do say yes he can run off with my payment.

Any advice, ideas? the guy doesnt really have great feedback, but i don't really want to make a big deal out this nor i do i want to get jipped. Isn't there some kind of resolution through ebay or paypal to handle this? Or should i just ask for the damn refund from the guy and get nasty if i have to.. which i dont cause its only a few bucks. I do believe i have the leverage i just dont want to be a jackass.

All refund issues will be handled through paypal. As long as you have not violated ebays ToS or been rude in any of your correspondence, just file a claim through paypal.

Their track record of favoring the buyer is pretty solid.
