help with iso image

Post by nightwalker »

Has anybody downloaded a game for the saturn from coolrom lately???
Im having a bit of trouble with it cuz when i first downloaded radiant silvergun it had the bin and cue file but unfortunately my computer crashed and i didnt make a backup in time so i downloaded again yesterday and i had the cue file but not the bin file i had a another rar file and i couldnt burn it. Tried alcohol 120, nero, dvd decripter, discjuggler nothing worked it said that wasnt a valid file. Do you guys know of a way to convert the rar file to a bin file or am i doing something wrong im really desperate i finally got the chip and i cant check if it works again.

P.S. yeah i fried the first chip that i bought it worked for a couple of days but then it went bye bye. Didnt had any experience whatsoever in soldering but hey im at it again.

Well, you need Winrar to extract the BIN/CUE from the RAR file.
Have you done that yet?

What are the other files from the 2nd RAR file?
Radiant Silvergun is pretty small -- I can just upload it for you.
I'll try to find away around your problem if I can

It sounds like he has a cue file, then a rar'ed ISO+MP3. Just create a new folder on your desktop, extract all the rar'ed files in the folder, along with the cue. Then just use the cue as you would with a Bin+Cue, it should work.

yeah -- just not sure why they had it in a separate RAR -- especially since it wouldn't compress it more at all

Anyway, here's a link to a real BIN/CUE of Radiant Silvergun if you need it:
