Malaysia will join Germany, England, Denmark and the United States by opening its own version of the LEGOLAND park.
Set to be located at the Iskandar Malaysia development region, the Park will have a strong Asian theme.
Lego versions of the
-Petronas Twin Towers

-Cambodia's Angkor Wat

-Singapore's Merlion

could all feature in this exciting, new development. It is hoped that construction will start later this year.
The theme park is proposed to occupy the space of around 30 football pitches, require 30m Lego bricks and cost about £130m to create.
Legoland Dubailand is planned to open in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was originally scheduled to open in 2011, but has since been delayed.
In January 2010, Merlin Entertainments purchased the former Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Florida, with the intention of converting the former botanical garden and amusement park into Legoland Florida, which are expected to be opened at the last quarter of 2011.
