20 years of Lemmings

Lemmings is a puzzle computer game developed by DMA Design (now Rockstar North) and published by Psygnosis in 1991. Originally developed for the Commodore Amiga, Lemmings was one of the most popular computer games of its time, and several gaming magazines gave it some of their highest review scores at the time. The popularity of the game led to development of numerous ports to other systems, including most recently ports to the PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3 in 2006 and 2007, and the creation of several sequels. I was just playing some classic PC games yesterday and found one of my favorite puzzles: Lemmings!

It's Release date is February 14, 1991, so it's been 20 years of lemmings.

I know it was ported to many other platforms, so I'd like to ask: Where did you first played Lemmings ?

Your Wiki link didn't work, its fixed in this reply by using the "" tags.

I first saw Lemmings on the Amiga, and play it on both the PC and PSX. A great game, recently rediscovered under OS9 Mac. I remember unique to the Amiga version where all the lemmings scream "Oh No" before being nuked. The PSX version supports the mouse and Naki Trakball. I didn't know about the PS2 Euro release, looks interesting.

I had Lemmings for Playstation; mildly frustrating without a mouse, but still lots of fun. I've been playing the Amiga original more recently via WinUAE. Much better with the mouse, but writing down passwords is a hassle!

[suppose I could use save states...] :?

In WinUAE you can do that. Or you can just take a screenshot of the password.
