atari lynx or nintendo gameboy

I wana pick up a lynx or an original gameboy but im having trouble deciding on which one to get iv owned a gameboy before and loved it but never a lynx i would get both but when i pick up more than one system i dont play it so whats your opinions?

well do you want an awesome library of 500+ games, or the ability to play California Games? It's a tough call.

i would go with the gameboy. i've had the honor of being an atari lynx collector twice and twice i've sold it. i do still have my game boy and i think that speaks volume.

if you want a retro "color" portable. go with game gear.

Eh...

Lynx is a lot less common and it would be much faster to build a complete collection. Surely you don't really need our help picking which one speaks to you more. So I'd say Gameboy for playing and Lynx for collecting, it all depends on what you're after. And maybe you are working on a Nintendo theme versus an Atari theme?
