That surprises me as well. I think they typically try for a 30-40% profit margin at the lowest so I bet they're thinking they can get around 150 for the thing.

Something tells me a lot of the video game stuff there would be pricey.

I love the show, but I seriously think that buying games there wouldn't be that great if they bought a Virtual Boy for $80. Sure it may be going up in popularity because of the 3DS, but still, they'd only be able to sell it for $80 - $100.
Unless it's boxed, or has games. I haven't seen the episode yet.
Collects promo gaming stuff, certain import games, hockey memorabilia, and other oddball things. (sig and avy under construction)

Yeah for reference, it is boxed, or may have even been complete, but they didn't show any manuals or anything. The box was in very good condition though, and had the cardboard insert, and the copy of Mario Tennis. So really, $80 wasn't too bad for it all things considered. One thing though was that Hoss mentioned that someone had found a warehouse full of brand new Virtual Boys in the last few years, and that just sounded like utter crap to me. Unless someone can point me to an article that corroborates that story, I'd have to say that was just a lie to get the guy to sell it for less. It really does kind of bother me that he did that, because I really like the show, and they're usually pretty good to the people they buy off of. I would assume it was just a mistake though, like maybe he got it mixed up with the Dreamcast or something. Anyhow it was a cool episode!

He must of been thinking of all those Sega Neptunes that were discovered. :)
