They are going to "catch'em all" old-school style while raising money for the ALS Association (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Website: http://www.alsa.org/. the Marathon will begin on Friday March 11 @6pm central and last for 72 hours ending on Monday March 14th.
They will be attempting to catch the original 251 Pokemon using the first two generations of games excluding Crystal (Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver).
For those who don't know, thespeedgamers have been streaming video game marathons for over a year to raise money for charities. In total they have raised over $250,000 dollars and played 19 marathons. They've raised over $57,000 once during their week long Mario Marathon.
During the marathon they'll be giving away prizes, either by raffles or auctions!
