I don't know about you guys, but I would love to play these. Hopefully they'll just remake MGS and not do some idiotic Twin Snakes stuff.

I'm not a fan of Metal Gear, but I'm interested in seeing how this turns out. I wonder if they'll just be ports like the God of War Collection or if they'll be remakes.

Well, id buy this in a heart beat. Id buy it for 100 bucks. Even if mgs1 sucks in whatever way they decide to port it, having mgs2 and mgs3 with high resolution textures and wide screen would be a godsend.

If it came down to what my choice would be between the original mgs1 and twin snakes, Id have to go with mgs1. Its an argument of bad graphics vs over-the-top john woo style directing style, and Ill take the bad graphics with a less ridiculous tone to it everytime. If we're just making wishes, Id love to see a mesh of the twin snakes engine with modified cut scenes to mirror the originals as opposed to the new, over the top versions (Snake spider-manning fifteen feet into a ceiling corner as opposed to just standing beside a door frame or snake little jumping off the tip of a missile in mid-air) and also the original voice acting. I missed Vulcan Ravens original voice in twin snakes. :(

If they did remake mgs1, I wonder if theyd put a ps3 on the desk in otacons office? At this point, it wouldnt even be time appropriate, unlike the gamecube and ps1.

Don't forget about Bleem and PC versions of PSX Metal Gear Solid, both pretty good.

I just moved into a new place and my girlfriend has said that I can turn the spare room into my game room (her idea, not mine=awesome) and all this talk about the older mgs games is making me itch to get it set and bust out the ps2 to play the shit out of these bad boys. :D

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

The cheese in Twin Snakes makes the last 1/3 of Sons of Liberty look like the classiest art this side of the Renaissance. :p

Hmmm, cool. I wonder how much improvements they will make to the games or if it will include the original two MSX games like on the orignal version of MGS3 Subsistence did. I have the PSX original that I haven't played really yet, so I don't know if I will buy it. But if I do it maybe nice to have all the games on one nice shiny blu ray disc.

If this actually comes out, I will buy it on launch day. That would be the fulfillment of my best PS3 hopes.
