Problem Loading Racketboy Site in FIreFox

Post by mobiusclimber »

I can't seem to get this site to load in Firefox past the banner. Any suggestions?

... And I know this doesn't really belong in this particular forum, but I couldn't figure out where to put it. LOL
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

Sadly, did that one already. I guess I'll check for updates, but I think mine automatically tells me when I have an update.

Try restarting your computer then. Sometimes it's stupid things like that that work.

If not, I can keep trying to help out.

Ugh, I hate restarting (or even closing Firefox) because I have to log back into everything (including things I specifically tell Firefox to keep me logged into always and forever). I'm starting to wonder if I should just use a different browser. LOL

Try running CCleaner, re-install Firefox, and see what happens.. (don't forget to backup your bookmarks..!)

This worked for me when I had a similar issue..

Maybe the problem is that a firewall/ad-blocker or some other plugin is interfering with the connection to that domain. If you're using one, see if Google Analytics domain is blocked.

These other ideas are probably ruled out since you seem to only be having problems with firefox, but maybe worth a try:

Maybe add google-analytics.com to your hosts file redirecting to 127.0.0.1

Maybe your DNS server is having trouble turning the domain to an IP address? You could try switching to OpenDNS. It sped up my web browsing since Telus's DNS servers are really crappy.

Maybe Firefox Portable will work on your system.
