PS2 Slim stand - how well well does it work?

I've been thinking a little bit about getting a stand for my PS2 slim to make more room in the TV stand. However, I can't help but feel it might not be as sturdy as the PS2 fat when it was vertical. Does anyone have any experience with the stand? Is it easy to knock over when taking games out and putting them in? Is it easier to pull the system with a controller when it's set vertically? Any input would be appreciated.

It's super sturdy it's also quite large, it screws in to the bottom of the console. there can be a bit of wobble given how the disc clip in and out of the machine but well worth it. Rubber pads on the bottom so it's about the same when it comes to pulling it off the shelf

My opinion is based on the official stand by the way.

I have one for my PS2 and it's very stable. Like Krooner says it's quite wide and it has rubber pads on the bottom. Since I got mine, I've not regretted it - recommended.
